15 Days Left until "A Day of Inspiration" Premieres in Brandon, MB

Monday, May 12th, 2008 - Writing this date and looking at it seems to have some sort of significance for me. I like 2's & 8's, I guess. Anyway......whatever.....you don't care about me......

How're you doing? I'm happy that you've taken the time to check out this blog. I'll try to keep your interest. If I don't, give me a nudge and tell me to give my head-a-shake.

So......you're reading this 'cause you're interested in the thought of inspiration. What exactly does the word, "inspiration" mean? Well......to this writer......"inspiration" has nothing to do with religion. Three people out of at least 700 have commented on the so-called religious-connotation. Well.....that's okay......as Ms.Sharon used to say.

That's okay.

No religion, here, folks. Move on. Nothing to see here.

Inspiration means being in-spirit.

Sounding religious to you again, I know. Sigh...... Well.....
.......here it is. Being in-spirit, to me, means mind over matter. A recognition that thoughts know no bounds. Knowledge that we are the makers and designers of the life we collectively experience on this planet.

Inspiration to me, means, if you don't like your life, it's just cause you forgot to acknowledge the life you're destined to live......you've forgetton your pure source of happiness, peace, joy, contentment, humour, bliss, laughter and love......your focus has changed to one of lack and mediocrity from that of awesome wonder.

Life is only gonna get better if you decide to make it better. No one is going to change your life. Not one person is going to make you happy. Not one possession. Not one accolade. None of that means anything to your sense of enduring happiness.

Yah......inspiration.

So anyway......back to business.......

There's only 15 days left before some of this Country's greatest visionaries convene and share their insights and lessons learned.

As of May 12th, 2008, over 500 tickets have been sold to the Premiere of A Day of Inspiration.

I talked to Chief Clarence Louie today and he is very keen about attending and connecting with our youth. He's one smart individual and has some great advice to share. I recently saw one of his presentations and really appreciated his humour and factual delivery style. Just awesome!

The Registration Deadline is Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 where there should be at least 800 tickets sold.

Did you know that Chief Clarence Louie, John Kim Bell, Kimmie Weeks, Jordan Fleury, Elaine Bomberry, Dakota Spirit, Wambdi Hanska and others are all speaking/performing?

Group prices to attend are $30 each for 10+ people or $20 each for 40+ people. Prices include a catered hot meal, refreshments throughout the day, live entertainment, and motivational and uplifting presentations designed to empower youth. Also included in ticket pricing is the chance to meet with Canada's LEADING employers and to learn about educational opportunities.

You can't NOT come. Don't make any excuses, lovey. Come one, come all. Be there or be square. Last one there is a rotten egg. Don't lay low like playdoh. Giddy-up. Vite! Vite!

Really.....I hope you can come.
